Turning 50, I found myself back in this new world of dating. I dipped my toes in the online dating pool and quickly realized that this was not for me. I found it time consuming and impossible that an algorithm could assess chemistry. There was little to offer beneath layers of carefully curated personas and unidentifiable profile pictures.
So, I built a dating platform that would reflect a process where I would feel comfortable as a client myself. My background? As a seasoned executive recruiter and founder of Lynx Career Consultants, I’ve spent years cultivating the art of meaningful matches. Magdalena M is an internationally published commercial Photographer and Art Director. Specializing in editorial portraits, commercial projects and corporate assignments, Magdalena has worked with some of Toronto’s top legal teams and design agencies for over 17 years. Using photography to translate brand positioning is key to creating relevant, relatable ideas, but it's Magdalena’s ability to truly connect with people that is the vital element for her continuing success.
That same desire for story telling developed into a natural talent for Art Direction, through curating fashion and design publications (Embark Magazine, Canadian Hairdresser Magazine), and enabled Magdalena to become a stronger visual artist in all respects. Magdalena utilizes her clients' visions to create a timeless and modern aesthetic, an individual brand voice that is genuine and approachable, while maintaining its true identity.
Melissa
Makeup
Melissa takes great pride in bringing her personal approach to enhancing the unique beauty of each client. She began her career 16 years ago as an artist for MAC Cosmetics and quickly expanded her freelance career to many different facets of the industry. Melissa has worked as an artist for countless brides, runway fashion shows, commercial work, photo-shoots, professional head-shots & special events. In addition, she has worked as a freelance artist for Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and Burberry Beauty. Proudly, Melissa has shared her talent & skills to the Look Good Feel Better workshops (for women battling cancer) as a Volunteer Makeup Artist.
Melissa's passion, talent and warm personality, paired with her precise skills, ensure she never fails to deliver a flawless personalized look using top quality products.

Hair Stylist
Maria comes by her passion honestly… being raised in a family of barbers, hairstyling became a natural progression for her. An educator at heart, Maria thrives on sharing her extensive knowledge with her colleagues and clients alike. In a career spanning 25 years, Maria has trained globally, as well as worked in hair shows and competitions, including being part of the backstage team for World Mastercard Fashion Week for 3 seasons. She takes pride in her work, and knows how to bring out the very best in whomever graces her chair.
Melissa A.
Certified Life Coach
Melissa E. Anders opened her life coaching business in 2018. She became a certified Life Coach in 2022, and if you ask, she’ll tell you she’s been coaching since she was a kid, she just didn’t have a name for it.
During the last 5 years, she’s been focused on working with women to decrease stress and increase connection with themselves and their loved ones through simple mindset work and practices.
She is thrilled to offer her services as a part of Kohl & Baird's offerings.
Using a systematic process she can help you understand more about your relationship with yourself and your partner (or potential partners). She found her soul mate husband online dating in 2008 and much of her first transformational work with her own coach was on her relationship.
She believes that our relationships are opportunities to see more of ourselves and where we can grow. To Melissa, this is the true definition of a soul mate - being together and growing together, and becoming a fuller version of yourselves together.
